Jeffrey Dahmer – Monster (Killings between 1978 and 1991
This Milwaukee serial killer murdered boys of Asian and African-american descent. His murders had been gruesome and included forced sodomy, torture, dismemberment (removing their limbs), necrophilia, and cannibalism.
He was caught first when found fondling a 13-year-old child in Milwaukee and at that time was sentenced to 1 year in the work release camp. After serving 10 months, he was freed on probation because of his good conduct. That’s when the killing spree started.
He committed the first murder at age of 18, shortly after being released, and his initial victim was a 19-year-old hitchhiker.
There was the much-talked about story regarding a 14-year-old boy that almost escaped Dahmer in the year 1991. He wandered the streets without clothing, with Dahmer pursuiting him. Police believed Dahmer’s story that this boy was 19 years of age and was his partner, and took this boy to Dahmer’s home. In spite of noticing a strange smell there, they left with no investigation. Soon after, the boy ended up being killed and Dahmer held his skull like a souvenir.
Dahmer was the son of a analytical chemist, and as a kid he was fascinated with dissecting dead creatures. By the time he was an adolescent, he was an alcoholic and also a loner. He dropped out of college and his father forced him to enlist in Army. After just a couple of years, he was discharged due to his heavy alcohol drinking. Since he didn’t want to confront his father, he moved with his grandmother and resided with her for 6 years. His grandmother asked him to relocate when he was arrested for exposing himself in public places.
